Frequency portrays an image of an intriguing space we are not necessarily familiar with. An inner view of anobject that has been made accessible with a high-definition camera. A silentand mystical moment documented in a dark and isolated area, creating an uncertain atmosphere. An awareness of time passing can be felt as well as a feeling of anticipation as something seems yet to occur. Frequency refers tomany of Sigurður´s previous works where he investigates the inner activity of mechanically driven things. Frequency, indicating a transmitter of some sort, where the viewpoint has been distorted due to the closeness to its core, transforming the space into an abstract moment.
